Ernesto Vega holds a Bachelors of Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Aditionally, he has the “AD-2” Course from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE).
He has held different positions within Grupo KUO and DINE, where he was Vice Chairman. Apart from that, he worked as an auditor of Ford Motor México, Telmex, Cía. Industrial de San Cristóbal and the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.
He is a member of the Board of Industrias Peñoles, Walmart of México and Central America, Impulsora de Desarrollo y el Empleo en América Latina (IDEAL) and Inmuebles Carso.
